Clown Dolls

When I was younger, we used to have these clown dolls around that sat on metal circles, kind of like a swingset, which were supposed to hang on walls and the like. I don’t know where they came from, but they were handmade from yarn, styrofoam and plastic, with felt for their little top hats. They had smiles similar to comedy masks.

The Knock

So recently my mother and I moved into a three bedroom house, a cute little thing in a nice and neat subdivision. The only thing I didn’t like was the house next to us, from the get go it just seemed off, y’know? I just chalked it up to the people living there not taking care of it. Anywho. We moved in and about a month or two later the people living there moved out, and the funny thing was that they only lived there for three months. Odd. I asked my other neighbor about it and she said no one would live in the house for more than six months.

So one night

I had dinner at my neighbors house, which they were pretty new to the neighborhood, and the strange part was that that house had been through several families, I’m sure there was about 4 other families that had lived in that house in the past year I was in that neighborhood. So while my mother and I were conversing with my neighbors, their two sons were sitting on the couch watching tv. Suddenly we heard a loud thud that sounded like it came from upstairs. We all heard it and looked around and we were all scared, because no one was upstairs. If it wasn’t suspicious enough that 4 families had lived their previously, my neighbor acted a bit fishy, and said it was probably nothing. Later that Night, my mom and I walked home (which is just a house over) but it oddly was really breezy and misty. When we got inside it was really late, I can’t remember what time it was, but I was bored and took a picture of myself, and this is how it came out:

The Foot

Many years ago when I was rather young, me and my older sister shared a bedroom. One afternoon, she was on the top bunk reading and I was on the bottom bunk drawing. I saw a foot hanging down in between the bed and the wall. I didn’t think anything of it as I assumed my sister was just dangling her foot. Then she said, “Lucie, put your foot away.” Because she had seen a foot sticking up! She swears she wasn’t hanging her foot down and I know I wasn’t sticking mine up. This was a bare foot we saw and we both had socks on. To this day, neither of us can think of an explanation for it.

Fuck Yeah Nightmares Answered: That was weirdly ..scary, ahaha. I think I’ll give it an 9/10. If that happened to me..I think I would be a little freaked out! Thanks for sharing.

Shadow People and Newborn Children

Shortly after bringing my baby home from the hospital everyone in the house seemed to notice two new presences in the house. There was one incident where my boyfriends sisters boyfriend was standing by his dresser getting something out and as he looked up he said he saw a tall shadow like man standing about twenty feet away from him.

Demon

For the longest portion of my life, I lived in a one-floor house in a small town down south.  Many strange things happened among my family throughout the years of living there, but none affecting anyone as much as this occurrence affected me.

One night, my mother approached me to ask if I would take a photo of her new outfit to send to my father.  At the time, only my parents had cell phones and we weren’t given any until we started learning how to drive.  My father is a trucker, and since he was out of the house and mom really wanted him to see this outfit I agreed and took her phone.  As she adjusted the straps on her sandals, I noticed three floating orbs in the phone’s screen.  Amused, I call my mother over to look, and we played with it for a bit to see if it was from the lights or if it was something paranormal.  This is inturrupted by the house phone ringing and mom left my side to answer.

I continued to play with the phone before the focus landed on the window.

The Haunted Eltham Palace Magdalene Painting

This is The Haunted Eltham Palace Magdalene, a painting to which strange events have been attributed, and sometimes captured on tape.

Perhaps haunted by the model who posed for it.  A 17th century painting of Mary Magdalene, (perhaps 1633) controvertibly attributed to Anthony van Dyck. From 1621 to 1627 van Dyck worked in Italy, and this painting shows the influence of Guido Reni, particularly Reni’s Mater Dolorosa. In April of 1632 van Dyck returned to London, was taken under the wing of the court of King Charles, and knighted. He was provided a house on the river at Blackfriars, and a suite of rooms in Eltham Palace, no longer used by the Royal family, as a country retreat. The painting was once part of a larger canvas, but this portion was cut out, supposedly because of reports of strange movements in the figure, in the eyes and mouth, and its heavy sighs.
