▶ Robert A Ferguson

This photo was taken on November 16, 1968 when Robert A. Ferguson, author of Psychic Telemetry: New Key to Health, Wealth, and Perfect Living, was giving a speech at a Spiritualist convention in Los Angeles, California. Faintly appearing next to Ferguson is a figure that he later identified as his brother, Walter, who died in 1944 during World War II. At first glance, this might seem to be a double exposure or some kind of darkroom trickery, but this photo is a Polaroid (one of several taken of Ferguson at the time), making any kind of hoaxing quite unlikely.

This is a picture of my one year old nephew. The curious part of this picture, which is pretty obvious, is the white stuff at the side of the picture. It looks a lot like white fur or hair or something, but I know that it isn’t because there wasn’t anyone in the room other than him and I at the time, and my hair is a dark blonde/brown. There were multiple pictures taken, which I might be able to submit to you if I can find them, and this was the only one that had the furry stuff in it. It may have just been the movement of his hands, but if you look closely it sorta looks like the white stuff is enveloping his hands…like someone is wrapping their hands around his.

I’m not sure what your stance is on giving someone an opinion on whether or not something is supernatural, but if you’re open for it I would love to hear what you think. If not, you can just use this as a creepy picture for your blog

Fuck Yeah Nightmares Answered: I thought they looked like hands too. Well obviously there could be something paranormal about the picture if you look how out of place the substance is. Be cool to hear anyone else point of view on this though! 8/10 for scares and thanks for sharing.

▶ Wedding Day Ghost

"This is a photo of my aunt’s wedding day. The year was 1942, and the photo was taken with a box camera. On some of my feedback I’m told it’s not really there! Well, I know it is. This picture has been passed down.   It was taken in Jasper, Alabama."

The birthday ghost.

This might not be as creepy for others as it is for me but I thought I’d share anyway.

In June of 2007, my stepfather passed away a little more than a week before my mother’s birthday. Exactly a year after his death, we got a strange phone call from an unknown and weird number which was 1234567890. We didn’t answer. Then the next day it was the same number, only backwards (0987654321) we answered and all we heard was some sort of bad signal/screeching noise. We didn’t do anything about it and decided to let it be. Then that’s when things started to get weirder.

This was a photo i took on a ghost tour of salem, massachusetts at the gardner-pingree house.
captain joseph white was murdered in this house in his second floor bedroom. he is said to be seen in that window, so i personally believe that that is him in the second story window.
however, i do not know who the faces in the bottom two windows belong to.

Fuck Yeah Nightmares Answered: That’s cool. 8/10 for scares and thanks for sharing.

▶ Devils Den

Devils Den in Gettysburg is one of the most haunted spots on the battlefield. It is a rocky area full of massive boulders that really does look like a lion’s den. Many sightings of ghosts have taken place here.

Devils Den was already a haunted spot even before the battle of Gettysburg. Native Americans say that another huge battle took place here many years before, earning the area the name “Devil’s Den”. Indian ghosts were said to haunt the place afterwards and some native americans believed that monsters lurked among the rocks.

During the Battle of Gettysburg, Devils Den was a death trap. Due to it’s unique layout, sharpshooters were able to hide behind the rocks in blind spots where they couldn’t be seen. From their natural hiding places, they were able to systematically take out hundreds of soldiers as they passed through the area.

In recent years, a woman reported being approached by a dirty, shoeless man while taking pictures of Devils Den. When she turned around to talk to him, he was gone. Many people have reported the encountering the exact same ghost themselves at Devils Den.

Other areas near Devils Den where ghosts have been encountered are Triangular Field, the Valley of Death, the Wheatfield, the Peach Orchard, and the Slaughter Pen. This entire part of the battlefield saw so much suffering and death that it seems to be infested with troubled ghosts and tragic spirits.
