The Little Girl In The Mirror

My experience began somewhere around July of 2010 in a small neighborhood in Oklahoma. I had gone with my brother’s wife to see her parents. My sister-in-law was outside with her mother, her nephews, and her oldest child. No one else was there but me and the youngest child, my nephew. He was still very young, unable to even crawl, much less stand; he was also asleep.

I was sitting on the couch reading and he was on the floor. I looked down at him to make sure he was asleep. From where I was sitting, I could see there was a mirror in a room at the end of the hall. I could look directly into it since it was just a straight shot down the hall.

When I was satisfied that my nephew was still asleep, I turned back to read my book, but something caught my eye down the hall, so I stopped and saw a shadow in the shape of a little girl wearing a frilly dress with ribbons in her hair. The mirror was hanging on the wall about a foot above the floor and where the bottom of the mirror was, was where her body stopped. She was literally inthe mirror.

Suffice it to say, I was terrified, so I marked my place in my book, set it down, picked up my nephew and went outside with everyone else. I said nothing to them until the next time I came to visit. When I told them about it, they just said, “Oh, you saw one of our shadow people, too?” I had heard their stories of them seeing shadow people, but I had no idea that this was the same house.
