This isn’t very scary, the ghosts haven’t done anything necessarily bad (at least yet), but they are pretty powerful presences.
I used to attend a performing arts high school. We had several theatres, some being built way back before even the ’50s. Only one was haunted, though, or at least to the point of this one.
Students have claimed to see both an elderly man and a skinny little boy. Music has played over the sound system when nobody was in the booth, and there’s a chair that always moves up to where the lights hang. It’s found on the ground the next day. One of my friends says he even heard a voice tell him to run a certain track when he was in the sound booth, but he got yelled at for playing it. Nobody had asked him to, apparently.
One day my dance class was doing some quick rehearsals in the theatre, and there was a mannequin backstage. It was near the closet door, which was wide open. There was a chair on the floor.
After we ran through the dance once to test the lighting, I ended up on stage right, where I was before. The mannequin had its arm raised, like it was waving. It hadn’t before. The chair was gone, and the closet door was cracked. A little boy peeked his head out, pressed a finger to his lips, then pulled the door shut behind him.
When we ran through the dance again, I noticed the chair was up in the rafters above the lights. I told everyone in the class and some were freaked out, while others laughed it off. Two girls left after I shared the story though, they were too creeped out when they saw the chair above the lights.
