Shortly after bringing my baby home from the hospital everyone in the house seemed to notice two new presences in the house. There was one incident where my boyfriends sisters boyfriend was standing by his dresser getting something out and as he looked up he said he saw a tall shadow like man standing about twenty feet away from him.

My brother, when we were very little, just about two years old (me) and five (him), was having repeating nightmares. He had this night terror that he called the Black Dog. The Black Dog was a dog that would charge down a hill at him, every night; no matter what dream he was in. There might be a different hill, but the dog would attack him and eat him alive.

Grandmother
So when I was 12 my grandmother passed away. I was down in Jamaica visiting family when I found out. A couple of days afterward my grandfather took me and 2 other relatives to the unfinished house he was suppose to retire with her to. So we just climbed the ladder to get to the 2nd floor when we noticed this unusual large black cat in the hallway. It looked at us then turned into a room. We quickly followed it but when we got into the room it vanished. No sign that it could have escaped. My Uncle stated how that was probably Vera (my grandmother).
Another thing about her death is that my neighbor back in New York noticed the all lights flicker in house around the time of my grandmother’s death and nobody was home during that time.
Its not really creepy story but I’ve been thinking about it since my grandpa’s death a couple of months ago. We all thought something weir would happen or something. But there was no warning for him. He always stated how he couldn’t live in that house in Jamaica without her and his last words were how he needed to pick up Vera. So part of me thinks that if I go back to that unfinished concrete house, both of their spirits would be there.
