I LOVE THIS BLOG. I LOVE THIS BLOG. I LOVE THIS BLOG. I LOVE THIS BLOG. I LOVE THIS BLOG. I LOVE THIS BLOG. Don't give a shit about those pathetic, haters, K? They just got too freaked out by the fact that their blog sucks, and yours is awesome. YOU ARE A HERO TO ALL.
I love your blog so much. I'm not the type of girl who actually likes these types of things, but cause of you, I learned to love it. I've shared most stories to my friends and they'd get freaked out most of the time. THANK YOU :*
I know this is not my story to share but I was very intrigued hearing it.
Back in my senior year of high school in 2005 it was my last semester of school and one of my male classmates I’ve known Elementary School on up came into class one morning ande he looked so tired and scared.
His buddies asked him why he looked so freaked out and he told them he saw a ghost the night before and he was up all night scared to death.
He said he was on his way home from where I don’t know. Sorry He was driving past a lake where a girl was murdered a year prior to his encounter. A girl was murdered by her boyfriend father in a different state or something like that. They dumped her body along side of the road nude and wrapped up in ahite bed sheet. The road she was dumped on dips and right at the middle or bottom is where her body was found.
As he was driving down the road late at night he saw a girl walking down the double yellow line in the middle of the road
nude. As he was driving past her she turned and looked straight at him. He said he sped up and got home as quick as he could. He said she just walked off the side of the road and vanished as he drove away.
He mentioned it was her birthday the day before and may be she was making herself known for her birthday.
His buddies laughed at him and though he was making it up. But I’ve known him a long time and never though of him to make up stories. I work with his grandmother presently and from the way she talks of him he is a great guy. I took it differently then the others.
He said he was awake all night afraid the girl would follow him to his house and pop up at his window or something. I don’t blame him one bit for being scared. I would have done the same thing.

When i was younger about 2 or 3 years ago. When i lived in Mexico.I always used to spend time with my neighbors, this is what happen one night. We were out of town for the night, spending the night with their family, we made a campfire everything was going perfectly, we had marshmallows and everything around 12:00 a.m. bats starting flying over us [it was normal] and the power went out. We saw something by the swimming pool like a shadow walking over the water. We all freaked out, we stand close together. All of a sudden a smell of roses begin to appear, it was really weird because in mexico they say when you smell roses a loved one who passed away it’s with you. The date was near my grandmother’s birthday, she passed away before i was born. It was really freaky.

At Erribal House, Labasheeda, County Clare, the terrifying figure of a hanged man used to appear, his head wrested violently to one side by the rope. It was the ghost of a man called Letherly, who has been hanged for murder early in the nineteenth century.
A member of the Mc Doe family, who lived in the house, had sat on the jury which condemned him. Late in the century the house was exorcized in order to rid of the baleful spectre and until this day the hanged man has never been seen again.
The other night, I was lying in bed, just on the edge of sleep. Whenever I go to bed, I shut and lock my door. It’s a stupid, paranoid thing I’ve done since I was a kid. If nothing else, it helps me sleep. Just as I was about to drift off, I heard someone start jangling my door handle. Thinking it was just my mom attempting to check on me, I forgot about it for awhile.
I had, again, just been about to fall asleep when the handle jangled louder. It was about midnight by this time, and I was a little annoyed with my mom. I had a test the next day, and I needed to sleep. I can’t remember exactly what I said, but it was basically telling her that I was trying to sleep and asking her what she wanted. There was no answer, but the noise stopped too, so I was satisfied.
As I rolled over, trying to get back to sleep, I realized something that my sleep-addled mind hadn’t.
My mom had the late shift that night. She wouldn’t be back until about two a.m.

So, this is a story that my mother told me. It happened in the early 90s when my older brother was only a baby. My grandparents lived in an older house at the time. (I forget year it was made, but all the houses around the area were pretty old) My parents were visiting my grandparents and were in the living room watching television. My brother (who I think was a year old or so) was in my grandparents’ bedroom. He was lying on a blanket, asleep, towards the middle of my grandparents’ bed.
My mom heard him cry so she went in the room to see him on the ground halfway under the bed the the blanket covering his face. Spooked, my mother picked him up and took him into the living room. Nobody else was int he room with my brother. My mom said she thinks something was trying to take him, or kill him. That wasn’t the only thing weird in that house though. There were two closet doors in the hallway. My grandmother always kept the left on closed. My mom said that whenever she opened the left one, a figure of a man in a top hat and suit stood there.
You could only see him from the waist up, and my mom said he just stood there. He never blinked or moved. Whenever my mother asked my grandma about it, she ignored it or changed the topic. We still haven’t figured it out. Along with those two things, there was a constant buzzing, like bees, int he basement and footsteps. Eventually my grandparents moved out, and I don’t have any photos of the house since they moved out before I was born. But, I might be able to ask my mom for a few later.
Fuck Yeah Nightmares Answered: That is very strange. Would love to have a photo of the house though. (-: 8/10 for scares and thanks for sharing.
Right after High School I decided to study Mortuary Science and soon after landed a job as an apprentice funeral director. The job never really bothered me and since I worked for a small funeral home, I often worked by myself (even late at night). However, this story happened on an early morning and I will never forget it.
My morning routines usually involved vacuuming the Funeral chapel, followed by arranging the chairs for viewings, and setting up the flowers. After fixing the chapel, I’m usually tasked with going into the morgue to check on the deceased and figuring out who to embalm. The way the funeral home is designed, the morgue is a few rooms down from the chapel.
I started vacuuming like usual on this very ordinary morning. The vacuum that I had to deal with was this classic early 90’s vacuum with the large dust bag. Needless to say, when the vacuum was on you wouldn’t be able to hear anything else. As I proceeded to toil about the parlor with the blaring of the vacuum, I heard noise coming from the direction of the morgue. It was the sound of a child laughing. I stopped what I was doing, as I thought my boss’ grandson had gotten in the morgue again. He’s not allowed to be in there, of course. I walked to the morgue, opened up the door, but the lights weren’t even on. I went back to the chapel and continued my vacuuming. I just brushed it off as noise coming from else where. A few minutes went by when I heard laughter again. It did sound like a child and the noise was coming from the morgue. I hurried back to the morgue. I just knew the grandson was playing back there. When I walked in the room, I flipped the lights on and saw nobody. “Come on, get out before your grandpa knows you’re back here.” No response. I scoured the morgue, but found not a single soul. I thought I was going crazy.
When I finally finished vacuuming and arranging the parlor, I went back into the morgue to do my next task: preparing the bodies for the embalming. I put on my gloves, donned my mask, and opened the morgue cooler. And there he was.
A deceased young boy.

i was just going through your posts on here when i heard my door moving. it was the same noise it makes when my dog is at my door trying to get in. i just went to look & no one else is even in the house -____- weird stuff always happens when i'm on your blog! haha
My mother and I have been living at my Grandmother’s house for about 5 years now. We moved in to take care of her before she died of bone cancer in 2008.
A few months ago, I was taking attempting to take a nap in my Grandmother’s old room. I was lying down with my eyes closed (unable to sleep), when out of nowhere, I heard the increasing sound of what sounded to be shuffling feet. It was REALLY fast, as if the person was in a panic. It started from the sliding glass door (about 10 or 15 feet away from where I was), and ended smack in front of where I was lying. As soon at it stopped, though…I felt really uneasy. I couldn’t tell exactly what it was, but I knew something was off…..it felt like someone was standing in front of me, looking down at me.
The weird part?
My mother wasn’t in the room, for one thing…because when I looked to the side, she was still in the laundry room about 2 rooms away (I could see her through the sliding glass door I mentioned earlier). Another thing that made it weird was that because of my Grandmother’s arthritis, she would ALWAYS shuffle her feet when she walked.

My dad was born an identical twin, however his twin brother died at birth- leaving him. He grew up in a large house in England, there were lots of trees on the property and one large one by the bedroom he grew up in. Because of this there were always leaves everywhere and he said at night the sound of the leaves swirling around if it was windy would help him sleep.
Later in his life he moved out with a current girlfriend. One night they went to sleep as usual, my dad said they remembered hearing leaves rustling around in the wind before they fell asleep which reminded him of home. He was woken up at night by his girlfriend sitting up in bed, talking towards the doorway. He sat up too, which startled her and asked her what she was doing. She said that she saw him standing in the doorway and was asking what he was doing. My dad was asleep the whole time. In the morning my dad looked outside and there were no leaves on the ground and apparently no wind at all that night.

Alrighty. So close to a year ago, I was at my school on a Saturday for pit orchaestra for the musical. My locker was extremely messy at the time so I asked my one friend to come clean it out with me after practice. It was around 2 in the afternoon I believe when we got finished, however the hallway which my locker was in was somewhat dark since the lights weren’t on. I emptied out my locker and everything was scattered on the hallway next to my locker. I was running back and forth throwing things away when I noticed my one gym shoe was gone. I brushed it off at first thinking I accidently threw it away. So I ran back and forth again looking in all the garbage cans searching for it. I even made my friend empty her bag. It was completely gone.
After I put everything back into my locker, we were freaked out, and were just going to leave, without the shoe. We were walking past the one room when my friend just stopped in her tracks. She pointed to the door and said my name. I walked back and perfectly aligned with the window in the door..was my shoe. At this point I thought my friend was playing some stupid joke on me. So I made her try to open the door so I could get it back. The room was locked. We weredefinitely alone too. I \had to go back and get the shoe on Monday.
Then a couple months later, that same friend and I were in the school after a football game the one Friday night (we’re band nerds). We went upstairs to use the bathroom because the closest one down stairs was full of people changing clothes. The hallway was extremely dark so we just ran to the bathroom and turned on the lights and closed the door. We went pee, then turned off the bathroom light, and shut the door. We were walking down the stairs when we heard a huge bang from behind us. Like someone slamming a door behind us. However, we made sure the door was closed. It was very strange.
And finally, a story from a different friend that again occured at the school: She was at the school at night again was with a friend at her locker. She stood there talking, when she noticed a little boy looking at her from a little ways down the hallway. She was terrified, but didn’t tell her friend. The little boy smiled, then ran down the hallway like he wanted her to follow. He ran towards her again, then disappeared into the wall

I just want to say THANK YOU for posting all those spidery things. I find most of the stories you post quite creepy, but nothing freaks me out more than big, hairy, disgusting, amazing spiders. I come to this blog to be SCARED and spiders are a first-class ticket to nightmare-land for me. What's the fun in being arachnophobic if you're not at least a bit masochistic about it, anyway? Those anons are just weak. Weak and annoying. Keep it freaky, dude! ;D
Goliath bird-eating spiders are tarantulas of epic proportions. Biggest by mass and coming very close to the giant hutsman for the title of largest spider in the world. As their name suggest, Goliath bird-eaters are certainly big enough to eat a bird, although they rarely do, preferring smaller insects and invertebrates.
Interestingly, it was a Victorian explorer who first reported these giant spiders and witnessed one eating a hummingbird. Like most tarantulas, Goliath bird-eaters are fairly harmless to humans. They only attack when threatened and their bite is no worse than the sting of a wasp. They live in deep burrows in the rainforests of northern South America.
The vampire squid, known to scientists as Vampyroteuthis infernalis, looks more like something that swam out of a late-night science fiction movie. The squid has large fins at the to of its body that resemble large ears. It is very gelatinous in form, resembling a jellyfish more than the common squid. The vampire squid has the largest eyes of any animal. It is a small animal, growing to a length of about six inches, bit it has globular eyeballs as large as the eyes of a large dog. The vampire squid’s body is covered with light-producing organs called photophores. This gives the squid the unique ability to “turn itself on or off” at will. When the photophores are off, the squid is completely invisible in the dark waters where it lives. These squid live as deep as 3000 feet. Unlike other squid and octopi, the vampire squid has no ink sack. The vampire squid’s arms are covered with sharp tooth-like spikes. This gives the animal its name. One pair of arms has been modified into retractile filaments that can extend to twice the body length of the animal. The squid may use these arms to capture its prey. When threatened, the squid can draw its arms up over itself and form a defensive web that covers its body. The vampire squid can swim extremely fast for a gelatinous animal. It can reach a speed of 2 body lengths per second and can accelerate to this speed in only 5 seconds. If danger is present, it can make several quick turns in an attempt to escape its enemies. The vampire squid is found throughout the world in most tropical and temperate regions.
This insanely giant insect called a “Giant Weta“, is the worlds heaviest bug. The Giant Weta is 71 grams and has a windspan of around 7 inches! What’s even more horrifying is the fact that it’s so large that it eats carrots! This Giant Weta was found by Mark Moffett, a 53-year-old former park ranger, on a remote New Zealand Island. There are actually over 70 different types of Weta insects, however this one trumps them all.
Moffett had some comments while feeding the Giant insect:
“She enjoyed the carrot so much she seemed to ignore the fact she was resting on our hands and carried on munching away,” (said Mark Moffet, the former park ranger who found it in a tree.)
“She would have finished the carrot very quickly, but this is an extremely endangered species and we didn’t want to risk indigestion.
“After she had chewed a little I took this picture and we put her right back where we found her.”
for the person asking for scary alien movies, try "Fantastic Planet." it's a french film, and it's extremely trippy. :'D May or may not be scary, depending on how subjective you are to that really surreal kind of stuff.
Robert Johnson was a great American Blues musician. Ranked 5th out of 100 on Rolling Stones list as the greatest guitarists of all time. The legend goes that he wanted to be great at guitar and was instructed to head to a crossroads. There he met the devil who tuned his guitar, giving him mastery over the instrument. Johnson did little to dispel the rumors, even encouraging them by alluding to the fact that he had, indeed, made a deal with the prince of darkness. He produced 6 records before his death at age 27.
True Story, not mine but my best friend who refuses to talk about it anymore.
When she was 10 she shared a room with her sister who is 4 years younger then her, as you can probably gather that was a super annoying thing because she was in fact really annoying! ANYWAY! Her grandmother (Her mothers mother) was sick in hospital suffering from a broken hip, She and her sister decided to put their pocket money together and buy their nan a nice soft night dress to wear instead of the hospital gown and they got it in Lemon yellow the nan’s favourite. One night they were in bed and heard their mother on the phone, she came in and said she had to go visit Nanny and she would be home in the morning and to go back to sleep that daddy was staying home with them. Later that Night my friend woke up to find her sister standing at the window looking into the backyard…She sat up and asked the sister what she was doing and the little sister replied she was watching Nanny walk around the back yard, my friend told the sister that wasn’t funny to shut up and go back to sleep but the sister was insistent that the Nan was there and kept looking into the yard my friend huffed, turned over and went back to sleep.
The next morning they come downstairs to the kitchen and their mother was sitting at the table, the sister ran to her mother and exclaimed she was so excited mummy had brought Nanny home because she had seen her walking around in the backyard last night the mother looked at her with a confused face and asked her to explain herself she went on to say that she tried to wave but Nanny didn’t look up but she knew it was her because she was wearing the Lemon coloured night dress…
My friend just stood there listening to her sisters retelling of events and waited for her mother to yell at her for lying. She told me she will never forget her mothers face blanch white and eyes going wide and mouth dropping as she sat there and just shock her head…
The mother said “Sweetheart mummy didn’t bring Nanny home with her last night because mummy only got home an hour ago…Nanny died last night…thats why mummy had to go to the hospital” Everyone was silent and my friend later told me when she was older her mother told her that her Grandmother had died in the Lemon coloured night dress they had bought her.
