So, my friend lives out in a small house out in Hollywood, 2 bedrooms a decent living room bath and kitchen. Theres 4 of these houses connected on the same property and he’s out more towards the back. Despite the awesome location and price for rent, the middle house has been abandoned since the 1980’s.

No one really knows the full story but supposedly a girl and her alcoholic and abusive father lived there.

We went in there one night to explore and I instantly felt that uncomfortable gut feeling when we walked in. We stayed in the living room and to kinda ease the tension my friend Manny who was holding a beer said take a picture with me and my friend and put his arm out as if there was some one there. We laughed and continued to walk around crack jokes take pictures and check out all the old 1980’s stuff that was left behind.

I walked into the bathroom alone and I got lightheaded and that uneasy feeling in my stomach got worse and I felt like i was somewhere where I wasn’t wanted. Thats when I called it quits and waited outside. Back next door at my friends place we were looking back at the pictures we had taken, when we noticed the picture of Manny holding up his arm had a huge cloud of smoke right where he had his arm extended as if he was holding on to it. The creepy part was no one was smoking inside.

On a separate night we had an after party there, and it was safe to say that by that time (anywhere from 3:30 am- 4 am) we were all drunk. My friend told the story of the smokey picture and some of the boys decided to be brave ghost hunters and go inside. A few minutes later our friend Brian walks back into the house bleeding from the side of his head spooked out of his mind and saying over and over again ” don’t go in there. seriously, don’t go in there”

Apparently he had been in there provoking the ghost of the girl asking her to come drink with us next door and acting like a drunk idiot. And as he was on his way out of the kitchen he said something pushed him and he hit his head. He looked back thinking it was one of his friends and he was about to give them hell when he realized that everyone was already outside waiting on him and he was in the house alone.

I wish I had the photo to submit along with this but that camera was stolen from my friend weeks after it was taken. and she wasn’t able to upload it.

I had a similar experience as a kid as the anon with the shadow figures. This only happened on one night and I haven’t been able to look at the foot or sides of a bed since.I must’ve been around 7 or 8 and still slept with a nightlight—something I nearly refused to do after this. I’ve always had frequent nightmares but for some reason, that night, I didn’t. I did not dream at all, if I remember correctly, but still woke up around 3 in the morning. I felt like someone was watching me but there was nothing and no one around. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow flash by my nightlight near the foot of my bed. I turned to see what it could’ve been and a hand slowly creeped up, palm facing me, and began to count down from 5. I had no idea what it meant but just stared in horror and confusion. As it reached one, I shut my eyes and waited for something to happen. When I opened them again a few seconds after, there was no hand and my room was unchanged.

Stick figures

When I was very young (about 4-6) I used to sleep in a spare bedroom at my grandmothers house (her house is really old). I was a very scared child half of the time, so I slept with the lamp on, that was right next to the bed. The room was always bright. Most of the time I slept with my face, towards the door entrance. The hallway was always dark. I kid you not, everyonce in while I would see this “stick”-like figures walking in the hallway. They weren’t even skeletons, that’s what screws with my head to this day, I can only explain them as stick figures, human size, some had clothes.  But I repeat they did NOT look like skeletons.  It normally would happen so fast that I didn’t have time to scream because at that point they’d disappear. But I was normally WIDE awake when I saw them, and my bedroom light was always on. I often told my Grandmother about what I was seeing but she always told me it was my imagination.Eventually I got so scared, I stopped sleeping in the spare room and slept in her room. As I got older I never slept in that room either, I normally slept downstairs in the living room.

Afew years later I was about 8. I was afraid to go to sleep after watching a scary movie, I was telling my mom about how scared I was, and some how we got onto the topic of ghosts. And then she said “When I was little, I used to see these white stick people in the hallway.” My heart almost stopped. I never told her those things, and I knew she wasn’t trying to creep me out. I asked her how old she was where she saw them. She said “I was a little younger than you I think, I only saw them in my old bedroom at Grandmas.”

Her old bedroom was the spare bedroom I was sleeping in years later. So she saw them too.

Over the past summer I had some friends stay over and we opted to sleep outside due to my room being small and the living room is usually occupied by my siblings. The first time we slept outside it was myself, a female friend, and a male friend. We had a fire going and nothing weird happened. The next time was about a week later with myself, the same female friend, and another female friend. This time no fire. And this time we couldn’t help but notice a very strange white orb moving along the path by the woods near my house. The orb then moved across the field directly behind my house and it freaked us out because of how close it got. It just disappeared which freaked us out since we couldn’t find it but eventually we calmed down and slept.

That also happened to be the last time any friends stayed over outside with me.

About a month ago I decided to sleep outside and had a fire going since it was starting to get cold at night. No sign of the ghost light as we had decided to name it.

Then, just a few days ago, I decided to go for a walk at night. I headed across the field to the park on the other side. I was a little nervous because I heard that a crazy kid had recently been released from jail and was back in town. He wasn’t what I had to worry about. On my way back from the park the ghost light was back. Moving down the path near the woods like last time. Being alone I quickly put my head down and just hurried back to my house. Since then I haven’t been outside during the dark because of the rain. But I’m tempted to wait around for the ghost light one the weather clears up again.

I’ve never really had much creepy stuff in my life, but i can pretty much guarantee my friends house is haunted.

Before she lived there, 2 people died in a fire in their downstairs rooms. Sometimes when we spend the night, and theres a lot of people, we go to the downstairs rooms because theres a king spare bed down there. On nights when we stay up late, and everyone falls asleep, I always get woken up by a buzz, and look around. Theres a tall, skinny man, slowly walking across the room to the garage door, and they always stop at this one spot and squat down, then continues, and disappears into the door, ceasing the buzzing.

I used to think it was just my imagination after watching hours of scary movies, but one night i brought it up and two other people had seen him multiple times too.
